Innovation Founded on Experience

The business was formed in 1986 by a group of filtration professionals with extensive experience in the application, design and manufacturing of industrial filtration equipment. Our years of application experience combined with our comprehensive product line enable us to offer practical solutions to our customers in the metalworking industry.

Starting with the successful introduction of our parented Star Filter® Technology in 1992 and now with the introduction of our 2XF Dual Element Permanent Media Vacuum Filter in 2006, for which we have applied for patent protection. Hydroflow continues to lead the industry with technology and innovation. The new 2XF FILTER® is a versatile, adaptable, economical vacuum element filtration system. With its simple but rugged construction, automatic operation, easy removal dual element, the 2XF® offers the best in filtration efficiency and serviceability.

 

In 2005, the business was purchased by The Andersons, Inc. of Maumee, Ohio (NASDAQ). Hydroflow’s relationship with The Andersons dates back to 1992, and coincided with our introduction of the Patented Star Filter® Systems. Anticipating an increasing demand for large Star Filter® Systems, Hydroflow began a search for a skilled and well established fabricator to help us meet that growing demand. This search led us to The Andersons, Inc. Since 1992 The Fabrication Division has produced dozens of Vacuum and Star Filter® systems. We welcome prospective and existing customers to visit our manufacturing facilities in Maumee, Ohio at any time to discuss specific applications, make construction progress inspections, or witness filter run-off testing.

We carry a complete inventory of spare parts and maintenance items ready to ship overnight.

In stock at all times are hundreds of rolls of Hydroflow’s exclusive Pureflow rolled media ready for use in Hydroflow or competitive filters. Experts are available to answer any questions you may have regarding selection and pricing.

Engineering and Consulting Services

  

We take pride in our ability to provide complete filtration systems. Increasingly, customers want a single source for entire projects. We are capable of meeting these needs.

Our engineers are experienced in the design and manufacture of underground velocity flume systems as well as the design of overhead piping systems for both dirty and clean coolant. We also can supply and integrate with the filter, such accessories as chillers, tramp oil removal equipment and chip processing systems.

With our complete line of filtration systems and products and the experience to apply them, we can select the optimum type of equipment to suit your unique requirements.
